Fox signs three more tenants for Rivertowne Place
Rivertowne Place, South Carolina’s first LEED-registered shopping center is on schedule to open in Mt. Pleasant, SC, in mid-June 2010 with a new Harris Teeter prototype and three new tenants, according to Tom Fox, Partner-in-Charge of Fox Capital Partners, the Greenville- based developer.
"We delivered the pad to Harris Teeter in September 2009 and they’re on track for an opening this year,” Fox said. "We only have 1500 square feet left to fill, which would be perfect for a pizzeria or bistro.”
Rivertowne Place’s new tenants are:
• 41 Holdings, which leased 3600 SF to operate O’brion’s Pub & Restaurant. There are O’Brion’s in ION, Mt. Pleasant, and on James Island.
• JD Ventures, which leased 1200 SF for Rivertowne Spirits and owns another liquor store in Mt. Pleasant.
• Rivertowne Alterations & Cleaning, which leased 1200 SF
The energy-efficient, environmentally friendly development will include almost 80,000 SF of retail space when complete and sits on approximately 18 acres, with 650 feet of frontage on SC Hwy 41 and available access via Rivertowne Parkway. "Rivertowne Place embodies the new energy we bring to development,” Fox said. "Sustainable design, local management, a great anchor brand and upscale restaurant and retail operations.”
